Mystical Golf’s 2012-2013 Myrtle Beach Golf Packages

Mystical Golf owns and manages three of Myrtle Beach’s finest golf courses — The Witch, the Wizard and Man O’ War — whose beauty can enchant and challenge golfers of all abilities.

wizard golf courseThe Witch, The Wizard and Man O’ War have three distinct personalities. Reaching 4-1/2 stars from Golf Digest and named both “Best Bargain” and “The Best Value in America” by GOLF Magazine, each course in the Mystical trio is designed by celebrated architect Dan Maples. Man-O-War and The Wizard are adjacent and The Witch is just 10 minutes away.

The markedly different designs of the layouts provide exciting variety for extended golf vacations and “buddy trips.” All three are convenient to Myrtle Beach’s famed Ocean Boulevard beachfront resorts and entertainment venues and are offered as part of stay-play packages that offer significant savings to individuals or groups of any size.

Awarded 4-1/2 stars by Golf Digest, The Witch is a Myrtle Beach favorite. The challenging layout sits regally on 500 acres of tranquil cypress groves and wetlands teeming with flora and fauna. Well-placed tee shots to manicured fairways and razor-sharp iron approaches are awarded. With 4,000 feet of bridges snaking through a magnificent swamp and rolling hills, golfers may spy cranes, bald eagles, alligators and black bears.

The Wizard is a golf treat. You’ll think you’ve been transported to the Scottish Highlands with ever present deep bunkers, mound-framed fairways, dramatic elevation changes and dry gullies throughout.

Man-O-War (receiving 4 stars by Golf Digest) features water on every hole and is the only course in Myrtle Beach on a 100-acre lake. You’ll find rare back-to-back island greens and the stout par-4 ninth completely surrounded by unforgiving H2O.

Mystical Golf and the Sea Mist Resort, in the heart of Myrtle Beach’s South Ocean Boulevard beachfront area, hosted the 2012 fall meeting of the Golf Travel Writers of America.
